About My Blog
For years, I have wanted to share my experiences as a source of inspiration. I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started "Foodie with Intent" as a way to connect with others as I continue to grow into my happiest self. I am a foodie at heart, but struggled with eating much of my life. Finding my true self has been a part of the journey.
What started as daily journaling has evolved into a rich site filled with information about various topics that are near and dear to my heart. I hope that some of the things I have learned on this journey can help you.

My story is full of high's and low's- each one a blessing teaching me lessons, strength, and about who I am. The topics I write about in my blog come from 1st hand experience, the wisdom of many therapists, nutritionists, and others I have met along my way.
I attended college to earn a B.S. (Animal Science- Meat emphasis with a minor in Chemistry and Horticulture) which has supported me as I learn about wholistic health and food.
Take some time to explore the blog and find what hits close to home. Feel free to reach out if you would like to collaborate. Read on and enjoy!
